Loading the leg through the "hopping" through the ladder and then explosively sprinting off of the "hop foot" is a great conditioning method for building 3-step sprinting speed.

Mix it up, keep it fresh and make sure the kids never get "good at the drill" instead of getting "good at soccer". It's important to stimulate the learning aspect of the soccer development to ensure the kids are truly becoming better athletes for better soccer.
